Welcome to my new quilting blog. I am just learning how to set up a blog. Give me a few more days and I will be blogging on my efforts to get my quilting studio arranged and what I am working on. I am working on several quilts at once [of course what quilter doesn't]. My sister and I both love to quilt. I will link you up with her sites as soon as I know how. I once had a quilting shop that I sold quilts in as fast as I could make them. I taught myself how to make the quilt tops and bought one of Gammils Long arm quilting machines (one of the first ones they came out with) to quilt on. I can make several Lone Stars in one day if my husband cuts out my strips for me. So the challenge was how many quilts could I make in one day. I never sat down and taught my self many different blocks just different quilts. Trips around the world, double Irish chains, Lone Stars, Granny blocks were some of the ones I did fast and sold them as I finished them. I did one of Pam Bonos quilt with the flying ducks and it took me a while to finish it (wish I would have kept it instead of selling it) and plan on making it again. Now my goal is to learn to make the many different blocks out there and put them into quilts or whatever. Well this is enough for my first post. Photos and links will come later. Have to ask my sis how to do that.
