Wow it has been some time since I posted.  I have been so busy this summer that I just have not found time to post . Let me show you what I have been doing.
I did this quilt using Happy go Lucky in a Craftsy class with Camille Rosskelly in precut piecing made easy. It is a good class to take.  I love the way it turned out.
Here is my first attempt at free motion quilting. The blocks are from Craftsy BOM 2012 and I did each block separately with Leah Days method. I loved how it turned out.   Well are you bored yet.
Okay this one I fussy cut all the fabric to make pinwheels. Learned that from Debby Kratovil site. and just loved it  One done for Christmas.
Now I am updating you on my husbands condition. He is terminally ill with stage 3 oral cancer . He is not strong enough to tolerate the surgery that they usually do on this. His stomach cancer that he fought for  has not returned but since he has no immune system he has no alternatives.  We are going to Houstan in Sept to the Cancer center to see if they can help.  I am trying to win a caregivers cruise and need all the votes that I can get. I am really close to winning. I hope I win so that I can give him one of the wishes that he has stated to me  while he is still able to go.  I am including the link if anyone is interested in voting for us. I hope that he wins. this. http://cruise.caregiverstress.com/entries/margaret-s/  Please help me by voting. All my friends at the hospital that I did work at are voting Now I am asking the quilting community to help me. Thanks  Have a beautiful day.

  7. Beautiful quilts. I'm very sorry to learn of your husband's illness. I lost a grandson to cancer 6 years ago--he was 7. I know what a struggle it is to watch someone you love suffer with cancer. You and your family are in my prayers. I voted for you!
